DESCRIPTION

The sag indicator is simple tool to measure the amount of travel you are using on your coil shock, and to get the ideal sag measurement.
An external shaft is held in place at the top and bottom of your shock, with an "o" ring to show how much travel you are using.
The Travel and Sag Indicator can be used on the bike while testing and setting up your bike. Zip tie it on, do some runs and see how much preload you need or if your spring rate is right.

- Suspension tuning tool to measure the travel and sag on coil shocks
- 2.0 version attaches at the top and bottom of the coil spring - allowing compatibility with all coil shocks, including inline and non-standard piggyback shocks such as Cane Creek, Ohlins, Push Industries, DVO and more

    Use this calculator to set up a new bike or to optimize your coil shock setup for racing.

    1. Calculate your SAG value in %:

    Indicator value (mm):

    Shock Stroke (mm):

    SAG value in %:

    The result of the calculator shows you the current SAG of your shock. To do this, enter the stroke of your shock and the value that you can read from the scale with the help of the rubber ring. If the value is above your desired SAG value, you need a harder spring, if it is below, you need a softer spring.

    2. Work out your desired sag % in mm:

    SAG (%):

    Shock Stroke (mm)::

    Indicator value in mm:

    The result shows you what the rubber ring should indicate on your scale when compressing to get the desired SAG value. If you compress more, you need a harder spring. If you compress too little, a softer spring is needed.

    Achtung!

    The Travel & SAG Indicator 2.0 fits springs up to 180mm long (compressed or or uncompressed). For longer springs, we recommend Version 1, which attaches to the piggyback / external reservoir.
