The Angle Spacer (fork crown race) for 1 1/8" forks allows you to modernize and fine-tune your bike's geometry.
It's possible to slacken the head angle by half a degree (-0.5°), extracting even more performance from your bike on steep and challenging descents!
n
The spacer replaces the conventional fork crown race and is mounted between the fork crown and the headset.
The Angle Spacer can be used with any headset that uses 45° bearings. (45° bearings are used in 95% of all bikes.)
CAUTION: Not compatible with IS (fully integrated) or EC (external cup) headsets!
To use the Angle Spacer, simply remove the fork from the frame and then remove the existing crown race from the fork crown.
The Angle Spacer is mounted/pressed onto the fork crown in the position where the old crown race was previously located.
Using the Angle Spacer does not affect the stability of the fork in any way. It can be mounted on any bike without hesitation.
This results in a more modern geometry with increased riding enjoyment and safety.
